Ever so slightly bored in the office today and so I visited an old friend of mine, Roman's, one of my favorite online stores, and was really pleased I did. In a few weeks I’ve got an old girlfriends wedding to go to and I really feel like splashing out on something new for a change, the trouble is I can’t make my mind up on which I like the most…

My first choice – a 3-piece pant suit in off white with some lovely gold detailing

Well I decided that it had to be a trouser suit this time, something comfortable all day, and I think flattering to my figure, and this fits the bill perfect! I love the long sleeves and the adjustable tie at the side of the jacket. The trousers are lined and have a comfortable elastic waist, perfect for over indulging!

As with all the outfits on Roman’s it comes in plus sizes, 14W to 34W and at the moment it’s in their sale at $139.99, so shouldn’t break the bank.

I know I started out looking for a trouser suit, but I couldn’t resist showing you this A-line jacket dress they also have in their ‘special occasions’ section, also I might add in plus sizes. What I really like is the way the hemline drops at the back of the dress, I think they call it an Asymmetrical hem, so in at the moment without making me feel like I’m dressing to young for my age. It’s the perfect hemline for my figure, showing off my ankles and slimming my hips. 

All helped by a slip that’s not attached, and has a pretty lace neckline.All finished off by the matching jacket, just ‘special’ enough for a wedding and yet cool in the heat of the day. 

Again at the moment in Roman's sale, I think at $129.99 if I remember right, Oh and it comes in sizes 14W to 34W, so again perfect for my ample charms!

Batwing pantsuit from Roman’s

I’m not always convinced about ‘batwing’ outfits, I know all the ‘experts’ tell us that they flatter the waistline by the trickery of an inverted ‘v’ shape, but I’ve never been sure about them. That is until I bumped into a friend shopping a few weeks ago and got up the nerve to try one on, and do you know I’m now a believer!

I found this one again on Roman's, I seem to have a thing about them at the moment, but If you are like me always struggling to find anything plus size that flatters then they are a god send. I also like the ‘v’ neckline on this top, perfect to show off my curves!
